OFTEN-ASKED QUESTION: WHY DOES THE APP REQUIRE MY EMAIL ADDRESS AND
PASSWORD?
ANSWER: IT DOESN'T. Those fields are optional. The reason they are there is as
follows: The app has the ability to send Emails to people whose calls you are not able to
take. By default these Emails will be sent from "phoneplus.donotreply@gmail.com",
which may seem strange to the caller, plus they cannot reply to you that way. If you
want to make the email more personal, you can enter your POP email userid, password
and smtp server name, and the app will use that to send the Emails. This way the Emails
will come from YOU rather than from some impersonal and hitherto-unknown Email
address that they cannot reply to. Hope this makes sense. This is not a scam to steal
your email address. What you enter into the app is not sent to us. Again, if you are
uncertain, simply leave the Email Settings UNCHANGED, and the Emails will go from the
phoneplus.donotreply account.
ANOTHER FYI: The emails that are sent to the caller will contain your phone number.
This shouldn't be a big deal because they just called you at that number. Particularly if
you are using the default email option (where the email comes from phoneplus.
donotreply, this phone number in the email is the only way the caller will know who the
email is from. If you choose to send text, of course the caller will know who sent the text
by the number it is coming from.

- Perform the functionality of the product; most notably you may OPTIONALLY enter
your Email credentials into the application for it to send Will-Call emails from your
phone to your caller. You may choose not to enter such credentials, in which case
the email will be sent with OUR default credentials (the disadvantage being that it
will seem less personal to the recipient). Also, the Email or Text that we send will
include your phone number. Keep in mind that the Text or Email is being sent to
the party that called you so they already have your number, and you are
communicating to them that you will call them back, and you are identifying who
are by your number. THE INFORMATION THAT YOU ENTER INTO THE APPLICATION
IS NOT COMMUNICATED TO US, IT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE AND IS USED BY THE
APPLICATION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
In addition, if you contact us directly, we might ask for information that may help us:
- administer your account(s), provide customer services and respond to and resolve
any enquiries or complaints; - provide any products, services or information requested by you;
- conduct analysis for traffic and billing management, and to support product

information about PhonePlus, and offers and promotions subject to any marketing
preferences indicated by you. It's your choice and you're in control - you can
