AirDrop provides the communication services included in it
through the use of servers that relay the messages to the intended recipient.
·
AppManiax makes no guarantees as to the uptime or continued
availability of these servers in the future.
·
AppManiax is not responsible for these messages not being
delivered in a timely way or at all or incorrectly or incompletely, or to the
wrong recipient.
·
While AppManiax will make reasonable efforts to keep your information
secure, we cannot guarantee it. If the information you wish to send using AirDrop is of a sensitive nature, do not send it or send it
at your own risk only.
·
The purchase
price paid for the application on the App Store grants you the license to use
the application on your device. It is our current intention to not charge any
additional fees for the use of our servers, but this is subject to change in
the future, depending on our costs of operating those servers.
Fair Usage Limits

The
communications through these products is subject at all times to the following
limits which are subject to change:
o
No single
message can exceed 500KB in size
o
A limit
of 50MB per month per licensee
o
A limit
of 100 AirDrops per month per licensee

Please understand
that it costs from hundreds to thousands of dollars per month to operate the
servers necessary to provide the message processing services. At $1.99 or $0.99
one-time per copy of the app, we are taking a significant financial risk in
order to launch the service and gain user acceptance. Depending on the volume
of usage, we will have to review our ongoing pricing in order to be able to
continue to provide good quality service while sustaining development to add
features and provide fixes.

Collection and Use of
Your Personal Information

INFORMATION WE "COLLECT" IS WHATEVER YOU SEND TO US EXPLICITLY
BY EMAIL, WHICH IS USUALLY YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, IF YOU CHOOSE TO
COMMUNICATE WITH US. THE CONTENTS OF YOUR AIRDROPS DO PASS THROUGH OUR SERVERS
BUT WE DO NOT USE THAT INFORMATION FOR ANY BUSINESS PURPOSE OTHER THAn TO DELIVER IT TO ITS DESTINATION.
OFTEN-ASKED QUESTION: WHY DOES
THE APP REQUIRE MY EMAIL ADDRESS AND PASSWORD?
ANSWER: IT DOESN'T. Those fields are optional. The reason they are
there is as follows: The app has the ability to send Emails to the
intended Sender of AirDrops. By default these Emails
will be sent from "phoneplus.donotreply@gmail.com", which may
seem strange to the sender, plus they cannot reply to you that way. If you want
to make the email more personal, you can enter your POP email userid, password and smtp server name, and the app will use that to send
the Emails. This way the Emails will come from YOU rather than from some
impersonal and hitherto-unknown Email address that they cannot reply to.
Hope this makes sense. This is not a scam to steal your email address. Again,
if you are uncertain, simply leave the Email Settings UNCHANGED, and the
Emails will go from the phoneplus.donotreply
account.
BACK TO JARGON:
The app will only collect personal information which is necessary to:

Perform
the functionality of the product; most notably you may OPTIONALLY enter your Email
credentials into the application for it to send Invite
emails from your phone to your AirDrop
sender. You may choose not to enter such credentials, in which
case the email will be sent with OUR default credentials (the
disadvantage being that it will seem less personal to the recipient). Also,
the Email or Text that we send will include your name as enetered by your on the Settings screen.
In addition, if you contact us directly, we might ask for information that may
help us:

administer
your account(s), provide customer services and respond to and resolve any
enquiries or complaints;

provide
any products, services or information requested by you;
·
conduct
analysis for traffic and billing management, and to support product development;

keep you up
to date by mail, telephone, email, and direct to your handset with information
about AirDrop, and offers and promotions subject
to any marketing preferences indicated by you. It's your choice
and you're in control - you can contact us at any time to update
your preferences by sending an email.
